Charlie Ann Kerr has long maintained a strong belief that businesses have the power and ability to make positive change in society. Her impact-driven and results-oriented mindset allows for continual success in her role as Operations & Executive Support Manager at Conscious Capitalism DC (CCDC). Charlie is always considering what the “next steps” are to achieve CCDC’s goals and execute the Chapter’s vision.
Prior to joining CCDC, Charlie worked as a Graduate Fellow at George Mason University’s Business for a Better World Center. There, she helped develop and launch their Impact Fellows Program, a two-year experiential learning program that combines business and social impact education and is geared towards minority and first generation college students.
Originally from the Hampton Roads area, Charlie moved to the DMV region to attend George Mason University where she received both her B.A. in Global Affairs and M.S. in Management. Her experience at the university, both as a student and employee, is what has influenced her efforts to build bridges between students—future leaders—and tenured business professionals, something she still champions in her role at CCDC.
